Melissa Gomez, RN, MSN is the main contributor on Thrombocyte.com. She is passionate about helping both patients and nurses of all ages and experience levels, especially when it comes to health education!
Her ultimate hope is to foster a more nurturing and collaborative culture for nurses by bringing her experience of over 5 years of teaching and more than 10 years of mentoring experience.
Melissa’s nursing fate was sealed after helping nursing students, newly grad nurses, health profession students, and even professional nurses!
She then dove into a career of facilitating the learning of eager students, as well as facilitating the delivery of nursing staff education.
Melissa has also worked at the bedside and in various leadership roles with experience in nursing quality, taking pride in helping students meet individualized needs.
Now based in Australia, Melissa is focused on enhancing on-going educational opportunities for her fellow staff nurses and health education programs for patients and their families.
